MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership has been partnering with Open Society Foundations’ Campaign for Black Male Achievement to host convenings throughout the country to inform the development of a training curriculum that will prepare mentors to better work with young black men and boys. Join this webinar to hear from Shawn Dove, manager of the Campaign for Black Male Achievement, who will share the Campaign's achievements thus far and goals moving forward. We will hear from two organizers of the local convenings, Natalie Meade with the Maryland Mentoring Resource Center and Sarah Kremer with Acknowledge Alliance, as well as James Riddick, a convening participant. Steve Vassor with MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership will share more about how MENTOR is working collaboratively at the national level to leverage mentoring to support black male achievement.
